Jeni's Family Visits

It was fun to have Jeni, Nate and the little girls up on Tuesday. We went down the Provo River, had lunch at the Pizza Galleria, then headed up to the cabin. There was a roadblock on Blue Spruce so I took Greenbriar then headed up the steep, rocky non-road.  It turns out Jeni and Nate found another way up and beat me to the cabin.  We had a lot of humming birds and deer but no moose.  The last few pictures were from June.

Christmas at the Cabin

Everyone got harmonicas for Christmas this year!  It's been fun sitting around and playing together.

We have Mia Hales and the Running family up at the cabin right now. Yesterday Rich taught me to do river blur at Danger Bridge. Nice! Last night after devotional, we played speed scrabble and Mexican Train.

First Snow

Clay and I had so much fun up at the cabin today!  I finally finished covering the dining chairs and got two more doors stained upstairs.  Clay moved all the deck furniture under the deck and put up the Christmas tree.  We also met the new neighbors across the street: Chris and Maxine. They just added 8 lovely blue spruce to their property.

A Month of Mice

The late summer rains produced a mice explosion that we're still dealing with! When Chris and I got here yesterday morning, there we collected 5 dead mice.  I spent about an hour cleaning out drawers and putting out new traps.  Hopefully this will be over soon or Stormy will have to come visit!

Brandon and and the kids are up while Jenn and Levi are back home taking it easy.  Chris is recovering from a concussion so is laying low.  Clay brought Peityn up because Casey has work today and Marta has school. The little cousins are very cute together!

We're in the Uglies right now with no leaves and no snow but the weather is perfect!  We'll have to take the kids for a hike later this morning.

We had a lot of fun at Aspen Lake this morning.  The sun was shining and there was a light film of ice on the lake.
