Eagle Project Research

Clay, Chris and I came up twice in May.  Chris was so worn out with end of year activities and deadlines that he slept most of the time. In this picture, he's scouting out where he'd like to do his eagle project.

Finally, most of the trees have leaves and a few wildflowers are starting to bloom.  We got the new deck furniture set up as well as the porch swing and Traeger grill.  Last night we made pizza on the grill which came out pretty good and today we made a pot roast that took forever and wasn't very good. After church we took a little drive around the neighborhood and saw a moose at Bench Lake. Chris drove.  One sad thing that happened is that we think the owner of the beaver pond at the end of Blue Spruce removed or killed the beaver.  So sad! How we loved watching him!  He was there in April when we brought Dad up.  Why would anyone want to hurt a beaver?  Someone on Facebook says he wants to put a road through the pond a build a reception center.  Stupid!

Dad and Les!

In the beginning of April, Dad and Les came up to the cabin for the the day.  We took them on a freezing trip around the neighborhood on the Razor and had sloppy joes for lunch.
